Fluent in six languages, Mariam is the consummate journalist who travels through minds and landscapes with the gift to unveil the essence of people. Drawing on her experience and long-standing relationships with interviewees, Mariam always finds the 'hidden' angle.

Mariam’s column "Junge Karriere" was published in Handelsblatt magazine for three years. As a cinema expert, she has appeared numerous times on TV channels such as N24 or RTL. As an expert of multiculturalism, she served as media adviser for companies such as SAT.1, L'Oréal, Swarovski.
Currently based in Hamburg, Mariam was born in Düsseldorf, Germany and raised in Teheran, Iran. She has completed her studies of Comparative Literature at Sorbonne as well as Orientalism and Romance philology in Freiburg, Germany and is a recurring guest lecturer at Hanover University for Media.
